Little Riding Hood Special EndOnce upon a time, there lived in a certain village a little country girl, the prettiest creature who was ever seen.  Her mother was excessively fond of her; and her late grandmother had doted on her still more.  This good woman had a fine little riding hood made for her.  It suited the girl so extremely well that everybody called her Little Riding Hood.  
One day her mother, having made some cakes, said to her,  "Go, my dear, and visit your grandmother's house, for I hear it is a full moon tonight.  Take this cake, and a little pot of butter."

Rainbow Animations

I put up a couple of rainbow animations, and animated my avatar. Avatars need to be less than 15K, so I couldn't use the smoothly animated 360 frame version I wanted to use... it was 364K. =P So, I settled for a 12 frame hue animation of the eyes. Hue animating the background as well was too harse for a 12 frame animation, and stalling the frames makes things look choppy.

Thank you much. I probably did 100s of abstract backgrounds in highschool and I drew non-silhouettes then. The progression was not very difficult, although I'll admit that I may not have gone for this style in high school. Then again, I may have. Who knows. =)

That is really cool. Yeah, you definitely have a flair for the abstract backgrouds coupled with silouettes.

I've been drawing since I was in kindergarten. I drew robots then.

What got me into silhouettes? My friend has a stick figure comic. I thought it was cute, and I drew a few stick figures. Later I filled them out as silhouettes and decided to run with it. The Animators Survival Kit did inspire me to use silhouettes, although it has been a long long time since I read it.

I don't know why I decided to use multicolor plasma. Perhaps because I'm good at abstract backgrounds and it seemed like the thing to do at the time?
